Most of the samples are from officially classified meteorites, but conclusive specimens of the hundreds of analyzes that have been carried out in this laboratory are also preserved.
The specimens kept in the repository are a valuable asset to science. Of these, numerous analyzes have been carried out, and some of them have been requested by various institutions to carry out analyzes.
In general, it is not allowed to donate fragments of the repository, but its use for scientific research (with prior authorization) by non-destructive techniques is allowed.
